A few months ago I was in a large conference where we were united in high worship. As I was lying on the floor soaking, I asked the Lord what was happening in Heaven right then. He opened my spiritual eyes and showed me the angels dancing to the music and turning somersaults in the air. I saw Jesus dancing extravagantly, and even break dancing!
The next person I saw was a dear friend who had recently died and moved to Glory. She was grinning and waving at me, having a wonderful time worshiping with me. I looked farther out and saw my mom and dad and other loved ones in the crowd. They had all stopped what they were doing to enjoy our worship. These are part of the “cloud of witnesses”.
I believe the Lord was telling me that when we worship like we were doing, there is a special convocation called in Heaven where they all stop and gather to join us in worshiping the King. As far as I could see, there were myriads of heavenly inhabitants focused in worship. This is a constant activity there, and it feeds and sustains them, as it does for us here.
What a blessing when the dimensional barriers are dissolved through intense and focused worship!
